Great secluded location and the best view in Iowa hands down. If you don't mind a decent hike and appreciate quiet camping this should be your next destination. Good trails, fire pit picnic tables, plenty of room for hammocks or tents. Bathrooms are not for the faint of heart but are very great to have.

Beautiful place with interesting rock formations and views of the Maquoketa River. However it appears that many of the trails have not been maintained for years. Blazes are disappearing. Maybe a Boy Scout Troop could volunteer to fix things up.

A great place to experience the wilderness. No established trails
